The Honesty Behind Taylor Swift’s New Song “Anti-Hero”

Swift essentially referred to herself as the “problem” in “Anti-Hero,” and everyone else seems to agree.

Finding out who or what Swift is singing about can be entertaining in most of her songs so far, but in “Anti-Hero,” her newest single, there is no room for confusion.

The famous singer-songwriter claims that she doesn’t want listeners to feel sorry for her and that the song is a “guided tour” of all the qualities in herself that she finds objectionable.

“We all hate things about ourselves, and it’s all of those aspects of the things we dislike and like about ourselves that we have to come to terms with if we’re going to be this person,” Swift said in a clip posted to her Instagram.

“Yeah, I like ‘Anti-Hero’ a lot because I think it’s really honest.”

What or who makes you feel like the “anti-hero?”
