How Can Declining a Holiday Party Can Be Good For Your Mental Health?

According to a new study it is good for your mental health to decline a Holiday Party.

It says that “77% of Americans have accepted an invitation to an event they didn’t really want to go to, because it seems rude to say no, but the study found hosts usually don’t mind as much as we think.”

A lot of people will tend to think that they will be mad that you declined the invite, however that is really not the case.

A lot of people tend to understand that people do not have the time to make every event and that you are busy. They may feel a little disappointed that you don’t make it because everyone wants to have a good time with their friends but they won’t hold it against you.

It’s a good idea not to go to every holiday party you are invited to so you don’t feel burned out, but still should go to a few to get your Christmas fun.
