Publix (mostly found in the state Florida) have been greatly expanding in recent years and now the large grocer is looking to build an “upscale” grocery store in the Midtown area of Mobile! The possible locations may be the old Augusta Evans school on Florida Street & Old Shell, or the empty lot near Foosackly’s on Sage Avenue & Dauphin Street plus another location at Pine Hill and Government.
A possible decision could come in 2 months.
